Just 20 minutes in nature can alleviate and reduce stress considerably. Nature can lower our levels of the stress hormone cortisol. It does not require more, you do not have to hike on the Camino, but just go for a walk daily. This is partly due to the fact that nature makes some other "demands" on both bodies

Just 20 minutes in nature can alleviate and reduce stress considerably. 

Nature can lower our levels of the stress hormone cortisol. 

It does not require more, you do not have to hike on the Camino, but just go for a walk daily. 

This is partly due to the fact that nature makes some other "demands" on both body and brain. 

While in everyday life you have to "do" a lot of things, in nature you just have to "be" - and be yourself. 

You become like one with nature. 

When we are at home, we often sit in front of a screen or are on social media, then our nervous system and mind work in such a way that we are more "alert". 

Nature therefore provides a unique opportunity to calm down, get grounded and get more in balance. 

We all need to get out and just be. 

In nature, we almost automatically get our shoulders down, we empty our heads - and we can be bombarded by nature's many sensory impressions. 

Just the fact that we make a scene change can give air to view things in a different way with more calm, profit and clarity. 

That’s why the daily walk comes into the picture as a really good thing.

  

I want to be a banner bearer for a group of stress sufferers or people who feel pressured and I meet 1 to 2 times a month and go for walks. 

It can be  in the forest, by the sea, by the fjord, in the forest and on the meadow etc. 

For this meeting in nature we will: 

  • Enjoy each other's company 
  • Knowledge of your own stress and maybe talk a little about your own experiences. 
  • If the need to talk is not there - then we just go for a walk in silence, where we sense and enjoy nature.
