Just 20 minutes in nature can alleviate and reduce stress considerably. Nature can lower our levels of the stress hormone cortisol. It does not require more, you do not have to hike on the Camino, but just go for a walk daily. This is partly due to the fact that nature makes some other "demands" on both bodies

Just 20 minutes in nature can alleviate and reduce stress considerably.
Nature can lower our levels of the stress hormone cortisol. It does not require more, you do not have to hike on the Camino, but just go for a walk daily.
This is partly due to the fact that nature makes some other "demands" on both body and brain.
While in everyday life you have to "do" a lot of things, in nature you just have to "be" - and be yourself.
You become like one with nature.
When we are at home, we often sit in front of a screen or are on social media, then our nervous system and mind work in such a way that we are more "alert".
